If you sit and work, the danger increases the risk of death!

Working in an office means sitting for hours. Rather than accepting this chair-table culture, one has to unknowingly embrace the danger. According to a recent study, sitting for more than 9 hours a day increases the risk of death.

According to a research report published in the British Medical Journal, if you sit for 9 hours or more a day, the risk of death increases significantly. For this reason, this situation must be changed. And if that is not possible, try to keep the body in good condition by following some rules and exercises.

According to that study, 4 percent of the people who die every year in the world die from various complications caused by prolonged sitting. The number is not less, like 4 lakh 33 thousand. Because if you sit continuously, the nine parts of the body—head, neck, back, lungs, stomach, heart, hands, legs, and feet—are greatly damaged.

Researchers at the University of San Jorge in Spain reported that sitting continuously with no or very few breaks or watching TV increases the risk of type-2 diabetes by up to 90 percent.

The World Health Organization recommends that people between the ages of 18 and 64 get 150 minutes of light physical activity a week. At the same time, 75 minutes of manual labor should be done.

Experts say those who have to work sitting all day should take a break for at least half an hour. In that case, if you have the opportunity, you can walk for a while; if not, you should at least stand up from sitting. In the meantime, for those who have started experiencing neck and back pain, they should follow the advice of free-hand exercise after half an hour.
